About this episode

This is a short clip of me playing my Roland V-Drums along with the Trey Anastasio Band’s “Night Speaks to a Woman.” I realized that many of my current friends had never seen me play the drums, so when I figured out how to get the music, drum track and video all synced up, I thought I’d record a short clip. You’ll notice the time sync is just a hair off in a couple spots because it’s tough to play along with a live recording, which often ebb and flow a little. Also, I come in a phrase early so you can hear me without Trey’s drummer below. Also, I'm not a lefty. Apple's PhotoBooth shows mirrored video.
