A showcase of the work by the students of Boston Renaissance Charter Public School during their Visual Arts classes. Projects range from puppet theaters to original animation. All work is done by students with the helpful direction of their Visual Arts teachers.
Students at the Boston Renaissance Charter Public School, with the guidance of John Provenzano (Visual Arts BRCPS) and Sarah Peadie (Puppeteers Collaborative), created costumes (cardboard and cut-paper collage) for the 2011 First Night Celebration.
BRCPS students used the stop-motion animation technique of pixilation, (a stop motion technique where live actors are used as a frame-by-frame subject in animated film) to experiment with movement.
