Shasta was designated by one expert as too dangerous to live and euthanasia was recommneded. Since we are a no kill centre, we refused to heed the recommendation for her and for several other dogs. All of those other dogs are now successfully re-homed and have provided loving companionship to their new, forever families. Shasta will be going to some lucky family soon. She shows every indication of being a great companion. She loves fetch, and now we find that she loves to swim. She is great to walk with. FYI, she is 3/4 boxer and 1/4 Great Dane!
