      Boomers, there's a recession going on, and while many may be suffering, there are some great deals to be had out there. For example, a Dodge dealership in Florida offered a special buy one get one free deal. Not for shoes or sweaters, but for pickup trucks. It blows my mind. Anyway, I wish other big purchases went 2 for 1. But you know, as my mother (and maybe yours) always said... nothing is ever really free.

      Boomers, I went to see Bob Dylan a little while ago in Kingston Ontario. It was strange to see him in such a small venue, but he still played his best. At least, I think he did; his lyrics were mumbled and I got a bit of a contact high from the tokers in the audience. You know, I missed Dylan's success in the 60s, but now I'm discovering him all for myself. But why would he play Kingston? Well, I've got some ideas. Let me know what you think.
