John Chapter 4- In this bone smashing episode, the conversation between Jesus and the woman at the well has come to an end. She drops her water pot and rushes home to the streets of Sameria to tell of the person she has met! The city stirs and the people gather because of her testimony! This people in a dirty, wretched place now come out to Jesus. With out much religious back ground these people beg Jesus to stay with them for 2 days. He does, but soon Jesus visits a town know for being religious, these people beg him not to stay, but prescribe for him to do great signs and wonders! While the other city believed because of Jesus' words, this town wouldn't believe unless Jesus did wonders! Which city do you come from?
The Bone Yard is a name that goes around many christian circles that describes what was once called "the bible belt". An area that is full of churches and confessing Christians but not many believers in the God of the Holy Bible!
