Ed Nicholson, Director of Community and PR with Tyson Foods presents a Comment for Food Challenge to Boston's Social Media Breakfast Community to Support The Greater Boston Food Bank. Tyson Foods would donate 100lbs of food for every comment left on their Hunger Relief website at http://hungerrelief.tyson.com/Update: 12/10/08 - Within 3.5 hours of launching our social media experiment during the morning Breakfast - there have been over 550 comments onthe Hunger Relief website. Due to the wild success of the social media drive - Ed Nicholson and his amazing team at Tyson Foods have doubled their support by adding an additional truck of food to be donated to The Greater Boston Food Bank. Resulting in providing 70,000 Lbs of food being donated - which equates to helping provide approximately 54,000 meals.Thank you again Ed and Tyson Foods.
