Our community organized trips to several swing states to attempt to affect the outcome of the 2004 election. We registered over 500 voters, took over 40 volunteers to at least 3 states and called many others during weekly phone banks for the eight weeks leading up to the 2004 election. This is the story of the 23 volunteers who chartered the Green Tortoise and spent four days pounding the pavement in Flagstaff, AZ.
