We interview Jamie Nabozny, subject in the movie 'Bullied', which is about the bullying that occurs daily in our schools around our country and the harmful, devastating effect it has on the children who are bullied...such that it results in suicide for some. Quote from the movie: "Every day, thousands of gay and lesbian students are verbally and physically harassed in schools. BULLIED centers on the powerful story of Jamie Nabozny, a gay teenage boy, tormented for years by classmates. Jamie fought back, not with his fists but in a courtroom." In the movie they highlight the suit brought by Jamie against the school and it's administrators for failing to protect him while under their care, even when he brought the issue of the bulling and outright attacks to their attention numerous times. In this interview you meet Jamie and hear his story first hand and hear how he's taken this experience and moved incredibly forward making a life teaching others about the effects of bullying and how to break the cycle. Treating not just the bullied, but the bully. Both are involved in this vicious cycle for sometimes very similar reasons.
