New York's oldest choir Musica Sacra performs an a capella concert dedicated to contemporary composers at Lincoln Center's Alice Tully Hall. Behzad Ranjbaran's short choral work based on Persian classic poet Sa'adi "Bani Adam" is the only one performed in Persian. In an interview with VOA Persian TV's Behnam Nateghi, conductor Kent Tritle says everyone needs to be reminded of Sa'adi's words all the time, and composer Ranjbaran says the importance of the words dictated to him that they should be sung in their original Persian.
