Synacor, a Buffalo-based company which manages the portals of 45 cable and telcos in the United States, is integrating programming metadata to make video search more comprehensive, says Ron Frankel. Frankel says that while Google and Clicker provide search around online video offerings, his company integrates metadate from content providers to more deeply search television fare.
