Revver, the Los Angeles-based video sharing/advertising network, is charging advertisers as much as $35 per thousand views of certain videos. While some videos get just a $3 CPM, this higher number is a very positive indication of a advertisers willing to pay high rates surrounding quality, independently produced video. Revver, splits the revenue 50/50 with the content creator.I interviewed Revver's Angela Gyetvan at the NewTeeVee conference in San Francisco last week. She said that the Hollywood writers' strike was bringing some talented folks to Revver. Below is a clip from Lizz Winstead, a writer for the Daily Show, who has a pretty funny political satire show up on Revver called Shoot the Messenger -- I've posted a clip below. Angela also filled me on the functionality of the site's recent redesign. -- Andy PlesserPosted on Beet.TV on Monday, November 19, 2007http://www.beet.tv/2007/11/revver-is-getti.html Less
