Bay Area Video Coalition, or BAVC (pronounced "bay-vac") is the nation's largest noncommercial media arts center. BAVC was launched in 1976 as a way to make emerging video technology accessible to independent mediamakers. Samantha Grant is an award-winning documentary filmmaker, journalist, and educator.
