Brief Outline“Las comunas” are slum areas on the outskirts of the city Medellín, (in the North of Colombia), where decades of war have left people, armed and immersed in violent conflicts, representing their everyday life. Notas y Balas (Notes & Bullets) is the story of 4 groups of young musicians who live in “las comunas”, led by the association “Los Antimilitarismo Sonoro” (The Antimilitarism Sounds).
