6’4 freshman Charles Matthews is currently the top player in Chicago’s Class of 2015. Capable of playing both guard positions, Charles is known for his size, length and versatility at both ends of the court. He averaged 10 points and 6 rebounds for his freshman season. Young Matthews helped lead his St. Rita team to a Catholic League North Championship along with his older brother, Dominique Matthews (2014).
