New Duke Blue Devil 6’8 Rodney Hood shows smooth shooting at KD Nike Skills Academy

Former Mississippi State star wing Rodney Hood was the center of attention at the College edition of the 2012 Kevin Durant Nike Skills Academy held at Chicago’s Attack Athletics. During the media session (when filming was permitted), left-handed, 6’8 Hood demonstrated his smooth shooting and dribbling skills before several dozen NBA scouts and national basketball writers. Per NCAA transfer rules, Hood will be forced to sit out this coming season, but he will have 3 years of eligibility remaining. Last season, he was one of the SEC’s top freshmen. Experts and fans project Hood may be one and done to the NBA from Durham based on his athleticism and offensive skills (both shown here). Thanks to everyone at Nike Basketball, the KD Skills Academy and Attack Athletics.
