With full and official permissions, I upload this rather long (2003) video from Ian Lungold, based on the work of Carl Calleman on the Mayan calendar. Please note that there is a lot of misinformation circulating on the Net about the Mayans, their prophecies, predictions, calendars, and so on. This is an effort to help people sort through that. The whole concept of a calendar has undergone major distortion and corruption, emanating from the Catholic Church via Pope Gregory: the Gregorian Calendar is their creation. Don't trust it, please. Instead, at least listen to part 1 of this lecture, to see what a real calendar CAN be. All the world's native peoples knew and know this, in their history, if not now. We in the West, though, have lost it. With this calendar, you can begin to attune to the energies, the frequencies of nature, of each day, in a most special way -- I'm unable to describe. Just see for yourselves :) Finally, the work of both Ian and Dr. Calleman has received high level Mayan elder blessings. There are few (if any) others who can claim that for their work and interpretations. This work is more complicated by the number of calendars the Mayans devised; not just one, or even two, but many, and for different uses. This is the area where many have gone astray in their use of "the" Mayan calendar. Many have improperly used the Dreamspell calendar in ways it was not designed to be used.
