About this original series

Mission: To create better communication inside and build a bridge between Auroville, its local surrounding and the world.- Using the Web TV as a modern and powerful communication tool for Auroville and its residents.- A benefit for the local villages amongst whom the Auroville International Township is emerging, by developing goodwill through effective communication regardless of boundaries and cultural differences. - Collecting, recording and broadcasting aspects of Auroville - places, people and events in and around Auroville.- Shooting and broadcasting events related toï¿½ Auroville - worldwide and live.- Creating ad-hoc programs containing information, visual impressions and interviews.- Exploring and developing new ways of communication to create a valuable link between people of different cultures.- Involving people who are interested in this project, both inside and outside of Auroville.- Developing and preparing specific formats and programs, offering workshops and projects involving schools and other educational centers in Auroville. AurovilleTV started to broadcast on the Internet on August 13th 2008.
