This is a dance performance by the young girls of Thamarai Edayanchavadi. Thamarai is the name given to a social center created by Auroville for the women and children of the nearby village of Edayanchavadi. Women of the village are given a space and tools for emancipating themselves, and children are provided with some education support and a space for artistic creativity.
