Pad Cadam, of Green Gears in San Francisco, visited Austin Community College’s automotive department at the Riverside campus on Oct. 15, 2008 to demonstrate how to convert an existing Toyota Prius into an even more advanced battery operated car. Cadam was also in Austin to attend the Austin Alt Car Expo at the Palmer Center, hosted by Austin Energy.
