Video: Eritrea Television (ERI-TV) Tigrinia News 'Zena': Epiphany celebrated nationwide Asmara, 19 January 2013 – Epiphany (Timket religious holiday) was today celebrated nationwide with devout zeal. During the ceremony in Asmara city, a nightlong prayer was conducted in all churches, while clerics and members of the faithful headed by His Holiness Abune Dioskoros, 4th Patriarch of the Eritrean Orthodox Tewahdo Church, conducted prayers at the epiphanic water spot. Moreover, preaching was delivered pertaining to the historical background of the holiday, and His Holiness Abune Dioskoros sprayed holy water to members of the faithful. Holy dances and hymns by priests also added color to the event.
