Nov 1 2007, NTDTV news In Pakistan, six people are killed and another 40 wounded after a suicide attacker on a motorcycle rammed into an air force bus near the central city of Sargodha. The Pakistani military reports this is the second attack this week. The attacker was riding a motorcycle and rammed into the bus as it was taking personnel to Sargodha air base in the central province of Punjab. Pakistan has seen a surge in violence by militants linked to the Taliban and al Qaeda since the army stormed a radical mosque in Islamabad in July. In a separate attack on Tuesday, seven people, including the bomber, were killed less than a kilometer from the army residence of President General Pervez Musharraf in the garrison city of Rawalpindi.
