About this episode

TV-UN

Open Source is a controlled place where people can contribute and receive. People can contribute and receive from online communities like flickr. One controlling factor of the internet is the right to copyright laws. Copyright laws limit what someone can do with what is available on the internet. For example, copyright laws limit what I can post on the internet. Online limitations are detrimental because what I post on the internet could influence an online community in a positive way and my post could bring about progress in a certain field. Still, copyright laws on the internet stop one from creating their maximum contribution.
