Today I got to observe my first NPR holiday road race. NPR staff were encouraged to form relay teams, wear ridiculous costumes and race around the city block surrounding NPR headquarters. Awards were given out for the fastest team, the slowest, the team with the most "NPR-ness" and the team most likely to have been formed simply to avoid working. -andy Less
