The American Vanner is about the Vanner, the Van, the Customization and the Story. Vannin' was hot in the '70s, when every fifth vehicle was a van. There are still some of the "dinosaurs" out there, however lately there is a new, growing movement. Young people realizing camping is much easier in a customized van vs. in a tent. Vans are fun, versatile, comfortable and protects you from the weather. BKP Films has been filming segments all over the country and we are planning to keep filming to show the world how awesome vans are. Stay tuned for more episodes.
Dan is a longtime vanner. He is one of the "dinosaurs" from the '70s. Yes, he does have a day job.Zoomie named after it's exhaust pipe has many modifications and it has a Corvette engine.Zoomie is one cool ride.
Jody is a young vanner from Houston. Got this Dodge in California and drove it half way home with a 5 gallon gas tank on the front seat with the hose running to the carb. Don't ask if it's legal...His plans are crazy, but will look fantastic. Watch the video, he will explane it.
Arnie bought this Ford brand new. His van is still in amazing condition, it drives like it just came off the lot. ;The van serves as camper, a cargo and a tow vehicle. Love the wooden paneling.
Ivan is probably the youngest Vanner out there. His passion and love for Vannin' is amazing.
Marty uses his van as a daily driver and attends "evants" with it. His Shorty Chevy is getting an interior overhaul soon to make it more comfortable for weekend camping.
Crystal is a Vanner. Her parents were vanners too and her father is still one. Crystal attends evants (not misspelled) on some weekends, where other vanners get together and "camp" out. Campfire, fun games and good times. Vanners customize their vehicles. Special paint jobs, modified interiors and anything that makes their van a fun, special or different ride.
