CNN's Ed Henry did an amazing job today debunking the White House spin (read: lies) about Scooter Libby's pardon. Henry did something that today's journalists don't normally do - he reported what the White House said, then he reported the facts that either supported or refuted what the White House claimed. Meaning, he didn't just regurgitate White House talking points, he actually told his viewers, with facts, what the truth really was. Amazing.
White House spokesman Tony Snow just said this live during a press conference. So after four years of pretending that this case mattered, that this crime mattered, that this leak mattered, the White House is now suggesting that leaking the name of an undercover CIA agent for political gain is business as usual in Washington, DC.
