Yet another Level 6 pole recital. This time around, we learned a routine. Most of this is the routine, with some improv at the end and a few of my own unique touches throughout. I missed the climb to invert I was trying to do but I tried to play it off... I think I succeeded.One thing that I'm always struck by when I watch these videos is how much quicker everything is than how it felt at the time. For example, I felt like I held that lotus forever, but really it was only a couple seconds. I'm trying to get better about slowing down and pacing myself, but it's so weird how my perspective when I'm dancing is different than when I watch it later! Less
