I'm a recycled fashion designer with a sense of humor, a love for all things poofy and covered in pyramid studs, and dorky glasses. These days, everybody's always talking about "going green" (pardon the cliche). As a recycled fashion designer, I turn the going green concept into an art every time I make something new from something old. So I figured I'd make a series of videos aimed at showing everyone how to make awesome pieces using all or some recycled materials, in the hopes of not only showing arts and crafty type people/fashion lovers how to make some beautiful pieces, but to show the public a very creative way of going green, and keeping some green in your wallet too =P I'm always happy to give advice and feel free to give me ideas for videos as well. Enjoy and create!
Title pretty much says it. Enjoy! http://www.amakadesigns.wordpress.com
Tutorial on how to make a cool bib necklace out of a chain and safety pins I scored from the Dollar Tree. I'm not affiliated with them or anything like that, I'm just a fan of cheap stuff =PThe pins don't come undone or anything like that while I'm wearing it, but if I were to make it again I'd probably glue all the pins shut with a hot glue gun or superglue. Safety first, right? (I still could at this point but I'm just lazy.)Check out my blog!http://amakadesigns.wordpress.com/And follow me!h...

This tutorial is ridiculously simple, lol.You can do so much more with this project, but I just decided to do something really simple so yea. This could made into a charm necklace/bracelet, you can use multiple chains, etc. Sky's the limit!
Using a small paintbrush and Jacquard Textile Color's 122 Black, you can hide ugly scuff marks on your favorite patent leather shoes! The paint cost me about 3.50 to 4.00 bucks, and a little goes a LONG way! This stuff is also great for screenprinting and airbrushing, apparently. I'm not affiliated with the company that makes the paint or anything, I just like the stuff cuz it was cheap and it works =DMore videos to come soon!

I had to take this video off and fix it and put it back up because I made it in such haste that I screwed up some of the audio. Sorry for any confusion. A video on turning your regular jeans into skinny jeans! Works great for flared/bootcut jeans that already fit your waist. Hope you guys enjoy! Oh, and check out my buddy John Murphy! http://www.etsy.com/shop/stupidcreatures(more)
I was so tired I forgot to thank everyone who supported me and voted for me in the contest! My bad lol. I'll make another video about it soon, promisssse. Another crazy collage for my color theory class portfolio. It's a free study.
