A quick rendering of video I took of a chopper jump at Sky Knights with Terra & Tracey, visiting from Green Bay. Tigger takes us to 5,000 feet, and we exit together. I was to back-fly and film the girls' deployment, but I'd forgotten how little control you have when jumping into dead air. Until you build up some airspeed, you tend to flail helplessly.Learn more about Sky Knights at SkydiveMilwaukee.com
Grasshopper's friend Brit, visiting from North Carolina, does a tandem jump at Sky Knights. I filmed it and Brit chose the music -- not typical choices either. I think it gives the video an interesting vibe. Sorry about the little bit of shmutz on the lens. Learn more about Sky Knights at SkydiveMilwaukee.com
Singer/songwriter and occasional sailor Julie Moffitt came out for a skydive and I had Derrick join me doing video for a 2-cam production. This is not the average tandem video -- the typical student video isn't quite this elaborate. After the jump Julie says she's "ready to go again." She meant it, and suited up for a second jump that same day.See and hear more of Julie at myspace.com/juliemoffittLearn more about Sky Knights at SkydiveMilwaukee.com
A hearty group of pre-season Sky Knights jumpers honor a favorite holiday by reviving the tradition of sunset "hit-n-chugs." Hilarity ensues.
Sky Knights' little girls get together for an RW load. It's not a big-way, it's a Little-Girly-Way! Featuring Lisa, Amy, Kristin, Annie, and Christene.
Sarah returned from deployment in Afghanistan for some leave time, and made it out for a jump at Sky Knights.
Sarah and a classmate decided to do a German class video project as a mock student skydive. The process shown is totally unrealistic, but that wasn't really the point. Done in 2002, it was the first project I ever edited on Sony Vegas (Sonic Foundry Vegas back then.) The class loved it and as I recall she got an "A."
