The City of Dayton Election for City Council Position will be recounted according to City of Dayton Attorney, Randy Gunter. Furthermore a situation concerning the family relationship of a Candidate and a current City of Dayton Employee has come to light since election day.
Although details are sketchy at best at the time of this report, the Game Room on FM 563 about 6 miles south of US 90 in Liberty was the victim of an apparent robbery for the second time around 11:30 PM on Friday. The business was robbed earlier this year on March 10, 2011, approximately six months ago.
Saturday afternoon motorists traveling from Liberty to Dayton witnesses a fire on the railroad tracks.
It was around 7:30 PM on Sunday when the City of Liberty Fire Department was called to the home at 410 Kay Street in Liberty for a house fire.

Around midnight on Saturday DPS Trooper Godfrey was conducting a traffic stop on a 2001 Toyota SUV on Clayton Street in Dayton near the intersection of N. Winfree Street.
Around 11:15 PM, an ambulance was summoned to a traffic stop on Main Street near MLK in Liberty near the McDonald’s and the CVS Pharmacy.
