This is a video from a week's tour of New England by motorcycle which included Maine, New Hampshire, Vermont, New York, and Pennsylvania. Video clips and stills were taken with a subcompact Canon digital camera. I rode a BMW R1200GS, and my brother rode a Harley Road King. Two other riders started off with us, but went on to Canada from Maine. Picking up our bikes (rentals from EagleRider) in Boston, we proceeded to the Maine Coast. Main stops there was Acadia National Park and Bar Harbor. From there we rode through northern Maine to the White Mountains of New Hampshire. Then we rode to Vermont and to the shores of Lake Champlain. We mainly took the back roads, only jumping on interstates as necessary. Not captured on video, because my two camera batteries died, was the subsequent trip through the Green Mountains of Vermont, the Catskills, the Delaware Water Gap, and Gettysburg National Park. We turned the bikes in outside of D.C.
