I spoke here at World Water Forum on Monday with Lenneke Knoop and Cecilia Vera Rojas about their plans for The Water Channel, a dedicated web-based video channel focused on water. They're seeking out content that can be made available to a large public, for education, information and debate. They also seek to develop and support educational and awareness raising initiatives with other organisations. As well as discussing their work and efforts to secure more funds, I explain here how we approach video at Akvo - how we use it to bring projects to life to secure funding, how we share knowledge internally and with partners and how we seek to explain basic technologies.
