Malesu is programme coordinator of the World Agroforestry Centre (ICRAF) where he works to promote rainwater harvesting in Eastern and Southern Africa and South Asia. As part of the WASH Alliance programme he is involved in a research project to really understand how and where rainwater harvesting is practiced in Kenya and with what degree of success, with a view to working out how to improve results both across the country and beyond its borders to other countries in the region. 13th December 2011, Nairobi, Kenya and Aylesbury, UK.
