20,000 nets were distributed in some 250 villages in the Ntcheu and Dedza districts to achieve blanket coverage - coverage of all sleeping spaces. By protecting all people when they sleep at night form the malaria-carrying mosquitoes that bite typically between 10pm and 2am the effect on malaria cases in the community is expected to be dramatic.
