Welcome to Peatrovich Papps Podcast page, which centers on his adventures in second life. This site is an un-official site not connected to secondlife.com. The views and adventures here are strictly Peats and does not reflect in any way on the owners of second life. That being said, this show will cover not only his adventures but also walking tours of simulations (sims) in second life. Starting with the world of Gor, Peat tours various cities in Gor and shows off their features. He will also cover events like tournaments, new builds and avatar interviews. Second Life is a website that allows you to be anything you want, do anything you want, with a body you design. You interact with the environment, which is very life like. If you have not been to second life, there adventures can give you a glimpse into the world. Each body you see in these podcast is a real human behind the body, and interacts with you on that level. SL as we call it is a social networking, adventuring, dream come true for most. You can have any hair you want, body, color, size, any clothes you want, you can be a shop owner, a warrior, a slave, you can sail ships, fly planes, drive cars, go to Star War worlds, Star Trek worlds, and role play.. you can adventure the main grid where you will find cities of people, events and activities. Back to Gor… Gor is a fascinating and harsh world with slaves, free women, panthers (women who live in the forests outside the castles and townships), beggars and more. The world of Gor isn’t just about violence, slave ownership, and adventures, its all about Honor!. This sim is based on John Normans 26 novels published in the 1970’s. At the heart of all the adventures, friendships, and fights, is that of individual Honor. Its not a single shooter game, and its not about power: rather it is honor. Most cities or castles have similar components, tavern, warrior hall, kennel, arena, rental quarters, living spaces, and market places. Peat will show these off in his tour plus any other unique aspects of that city. Many people are afraid to tour a Gorean city because you can die, or be taken prisoner for up to 3 days, so many don’t come by for a look see. Well, Peat is going to try to showcase these Gorean cities so even those would not go can see what it is all about. Enjoy
