The artist who conceived of and made the Torah covers is Jeanette Kuvin Oren of Woodbridge, CT. In the fall of 2008, Director of Congregational Learning, at Adath Israel, Hedda Morton went to Jeanette's studio and learned saw the Torah covers as they were being hand-sewn. In Part 3, we follow the progress of our Torah being written. The first 6 letters were written in Lawrenceville by our Sofer (Scribe), Zerach Greenfield, who worked as our agent with the person who wrote our Torah in Israel.
