Open Spaces • Norwood, MA, Part 1 of the a two part show on the open spaces and conservation lands in the town of Norwood, MA. Show focuses on 4 open space areas: Ellis Pond, Hawes Brook, William Pezwick Park-Traphole Brook and Bade Canoe Launch. Each episode takes the viewer through a walk and tour of each place, shows a location map, historical imagery and on most areas an interview with a person who is connected in some way with the place. Show was originally shown on Norwood Public Access TV and also on the web. Project was conceived, produce, filmed, and edited by Bruce Jones. A companion book was also produced, photographed and designed by Bruce Jones and written by Patricia Fanning. Project took 9 months from beginning to end and approximately 100 hours of effort.
