Back in March, I was part of a CCTV crew that shot some of the sessions held at the Women, Action & The Media 2009 Conference in Cambridge. Tanzanian journalist and activist, Raziah Mwanga, was one of the speakers featured in the panel Global Citizens, Global Journalists: Women journalists organizing around the globe. After the conference, she kindly agreed to an interview. We talked about a variety of topics including women's rights, the controversial film Darwin's Nightmare, HIV/AIDS, the role of civil society and the media in Tanzania.
