      Caer Gybi a small Roman fortlet located at the centre of Holyhead within the county of Anglesey, which was once in the Roman province of Britannia. The three-walled fort, with it's fourth side fronting the sea is probably the site of a quay, thought to be part of a late 4th century build, associated with Segontium in Caernarfon, which was formed to defend the west coast of Wales against Irish sea-raiders.       The annual one day event took place on the 13 July 2008 at Rheidol Riding Centre, riders from the local area came to the livery early in the morning to prepare there horses. The one day event included dressage, show jumping and cross-country for all ages and abilities, points, penalty points and timed sections in each of the disciplines decided the over all winner for beginner, novice and intermediate classes, where rosettes were given to 1st 2nd and 3rd place.
