I have been looking to make a detailed video on Stoney Ridge but for a number of logistical reasons I decided to go with a video on the landscaped gardens on their property. They are absolutely wonderful and the time and expense taken to create and maintain them warrants a video on it's own.Please excuse the slight shudder on some transitions but it would taken several more hours I don't have to fix them. This is a small winery located in the southeast end of "the County" at Half Moon Bay. The vineyard faces north on a ridge of limestone with loam making up an 8 in cover. This was the shore of ancient Lake Iroquois. They make great Pinot Noir along with Riesling and Pinot Grigio.

I wasn't happy with the last video so I re-did it This is a newly opened winery in 2011, it is just around the bend from Lake on the Mountain. We were treated in the friendsliest manner and we got a personalized tour. There wine was also very good. This video is my first full high def effort with new software
Open in the summer of 2011 this winery specializes in Chardonnay Pinot Grigio and Pinot Noir. We were greeted with friendly warmth and they were very hospitable. A definite place to check out if you are in the Waupoos area of the County
This winery specializes in high end Pinot Noir and various derivative products. One if them is a Botrytis affected product that makes a very unique late harvest wine. They also make extensive use of Pinot Meunier
This video focuses on the restaurant and the surrounding grounds(although you get to see the wine we ordered. I thought the property was so scenic I shot it from all different angles. The great cuisine combine with the pleasing visuals of the property, the fine wine and the reasonable prices (for this level of dining) for the best ambiance in the "County: (IMO)
