Every once in a while, Makapu'u offers some fun waves on Oahu. When town is small and we know there are some wind swells, we take trips to the East side. Only draw back is that you cannot surf there when lifeguards are around, so we need to go there in the morning or after 5pm. We caught some fun Makapu'u recently.
