It's 4 miles of my favorite section of road in Maui. Yeah, it doesn't sound like or look like much, but this really is one of my favorite sections.
We take a photo opportunity stop to take a look at Molokini island from the Island of Maui.
We turn around and head back on Pi'ilani Highway. The road gets rough further up, and we decide to make the best use of our time going to Haleakala before the sun sets.

This road becomes really scary when you're going fast. It's deceptive because it looks straight, but it rises and falls, and has slight adjustments to the left and right. If you're not paying close attention, it's easy to run off the road.
We finally get to cut it loose on these curvy roads in Kula. These are my favorite roads because not only does it twist and turn, it has a lot of miniature hills that rise and fall. What a better way to get used to a new bike.
It's been so long, I don't even remember this road. But hey, I'm having a great time, so it's okay.
So I lost my Atrix2 phone at the airport bathroom on Oahu, and I was feeling really crummy about that. But now that I'm on two wheels, my mood has started to pick up enough for me to sing!
We forgot our registration & safety paperwork. We're going to need that in case we get pulled over by the police.
We fuel up before the fun starts.
