St. Paul native Taous Khazem, whose father is Algerian, has focused her artistic pursuits on Algeria and the village of Tizi Ouzou — the title her one-woman show running this weekend and next at Dreamland Arts (performances are 7:30 pm Friday-Saturday and 3 pm Sunday, through Nov. 16). 3-Minute Egg met Khazem — who has worked with SteppingStone and Frank theaters and Off-Leash Area, among others — at her rehearsal Thursday to learn her personal and theatrical story.
