The Global Reporting Initiative’s Focal Point USA opens its first conference in St. Louis today. More than 300 sustainability professionals will discuss trends in reporting. Focal Point USA is a regional expansion program of GRI, and is supported by Deloitte, Ernst & Young, KPMG, and PwC U.S. VolunteerMatch hosted its annual Client Summit at GAP headquarters in San Francisco last week. Attendees heard presentations from cause marketing pioneer Carol Cone of Edelman and Meg Garlinghouse, Head of Social Impact at LinkedIn. Awards for volunteer programs and practices were given to Morgan Stanley, Old National Bank, Houghton Mifflin Harcourt, and Walmart. The event was supported by GAP Inc., Charles Schwab, and 3BL Media. Gary Lundstedt, Executive Director of Ingenium, is a featured panel member at the Washington Biotechnology and Biomedical Association Sustainable Science Conference today in Seattle.
